1. Participation and registration

To participate in MHATIZ auctions, registration with a Google account is required. By bidding, the participant confirms being of legal age and accepts these terms in full.

Each bid constitutes a binding offer to purchase. By placing a bid, the participant commits to completing the acquisition if they win.

2. How auctions work

Auctions have a published start and end date for each lot. If a bid is received in the last 5 minutes, the deadline is automatically extended by 5 minutes to allow counter-bids.

Each bid must exceed the previous one by at least the minimum increment indicated. Bids cannot be withdrawn once submitted.

Some auctions may include a 'Buy Now' option: by matching or exceeding the indicated price, the participant acquires the work immediately and the auction closes.

3. Payment

The winner will receive a payment link by email within 24 hours of the auction closing. Payment is made via Stripe (credit/debit card).

The winner has a maximum of 48 hours from receiving the link to complete payment. After this period, MHATIZ reserves the right to offer the work to the next highest bidder.

Repeated non-payment may result in permanent suspension of the user's account on the platform.

4. Shipping

Shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless otherwise stated in the lot description. MHATIZ will provide a shipping quote before proceeding.

Works are shipped with professional packaging and transport insurance. Estimated delivery time is 5 to 15 business days depending on destination. MHATIZ is not responsible for delays caused by customs or courier services.

5. Returns

Artworks sold at auction are non-returnable, unless the work received differs substantially from the published description. In such cases, the buyer has 14 calendar days from receipt to report the issue.

If the return is accepted, the buyer must return the work in its original packaging and in the same condition as received. Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.

6. Authenticity and certification

All works sold at MHATIZ include a certificate of authenticity signed by artist Grego Rodriguez (MHATIZ).

Reproductions (giclee) are clearly identified as such and include edition numbering and corresponding certificate.

7. Modifications and jurisdiction

MHATIZ reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The current version will always be the one published on this page. Any disputes will be resolved under Spanish law, with the courts of Jaen having jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers under applicable regulations.
