In the beginning, long before a name existed, there was already a restlessness.
A different way of looking at the world.
A sensitivity that did not seek to explain, but to feel.
The root
That root has a place.
An ancient forge. The house of our great-grandparents.
A space where everything was born from the strike and the fire. Where matter was transformed through intensity, rhythm, effort... and something harder to name.
There, it wasn't just iron that was worked. There, creation happened.
And somehow, that energy still inhabits its walls.
We were born there. And it is there where we choose to continue today.

In the studio
Grego Rodriguez
Trained under the guidance of recognised figures in the national art scene, he has built a career that combines artistic creation with teaching, leaving his mark on the Sierra de Segura.
Besides his passion for painting, he is a graphic designer, having collaborated with prestigious brands nationally.

MHATIZ was not born as a brand. It was born as a necessity.

From that ancient forge, now converted into a living space of creation, we develop a project that goes beyond painting or sculpting.
It is a place where matter continues to transform.
Where the gesture still carries weight.
Where creation continues to happen.
For us, art is not an object. It is a state.
An instant where everything aligns: emotion, matter, and something deeper... the essential.
Creating is not producing. It is entering a frequency.
There are moments when the work appears almost on its own, as if it already existed and only needed to be discovered.
Each work has its place. And each person, their work.
You don't choose from reason. You recognise it.
